Humanoid robot — your reliable assistant that never feels tired

The continuous development in the field of robotics and Artificial Intelligence forecasts an increase in the production of programmable autonomous robots. As a matter of fact, they are all set to penetrate into people’s daily lives. Sophia, a humanoid robot was recently granted nationality by Saudi Arabia. This was unprecedented in history and the country was the first to do so.

The intelligent humanoid robots never feel tired. They are able to perform task precisely that not only augment human capabilities but also have the potential to assist human to inflate their autonomy. Humanoid robots have self-organizing advantages and are as well capable of demonstrating collective behaviors.

Also, manufacturers are increasingly leveraging collaborative robots to assist human staff to increase their efficiency. Toyota revealed its T-HR3 to allow a human operator to control the robot remotely. According to the ABI Research, 13 percent of manufacturing companies have collaborative systems in operation.

The largest share of humanoid service robot market in 2016 were mostly concentrated in North and South America, and these robots were deployed in various sectors such as public service, personal assistance, education and entertainment. Also as is predicted by a report from Tractica, around 40,000 robotic units were shipped worldwide in 2016 and the number would reach to 620,000 in 2021.

An entirely autonomous robot that is capable of human-level cognizance is still a long way to go. However, research efforts towards fulfilling the vision is in full swing. To impart better assistance to mankind, engineers are looking forward to scientific findings for the creation of innovative solutions that could better co-exist in the common society.

Human and robot’s cooperation to be the best in financial consultant industry

If you are one robot fan who is always caring about the robotics affairs, you must know about Alexa robot from Amazon. Right now, this robot is playing the role of consultant for customers in UBS Group AG in Switzerland. With this progress, Alexa may make the appointments, analysis the stock and even invest into stock.

In recent years, robot consultant is becoming one kind of fashion. According to one investigation from CNBC, even though the consumers who use the robot consultant are limited, their interest in robot consultant is continuously growing.

As was reported from BBC, in the era of fast-developing artificial intelligence, artificial intelligence robotics is replacing human staff and going into financial department. Nowadays, the most of the transactions have been performed by robot independently in the Stock Exchange in New York and London.

Is the robot consultant just one kind of fashion? No. For individual users, robot consultant not only helps to choose and manage the balanced investment portfolio, but the cost is lower than general consultant companies. And this is one reason why the robot consultant is paid high attention to.

Of course, more enterprise clients prefer to communicate with human consultant to get the customized investment idea. Because they don’t think it reassuring to hand high amounts to the robot consultant. What’s more, the human consultant is able to give more proper ideas to enterprise clients in deed. However, this kind of humanoid service robot can exist because most of the work has high relation to its data statistics and data analysis.

As you may know, it is not easy to make one accurate and suitable solution. It requires not only the special analysis ability and judgement, but the powerful data processing ability. For example, the data that three consultants process in one day is easily handled by AI arithmetic within one hour. That is one advantages of robot consultant.

According to incomplete statistics, in the USA, there have been more than 200 companies who are investing in the blue ocean market of robot consultant and the financial giants such as Blackrouck, Fuidlity, Vanguard and some others are among them. City Bank pointed out in one of its reports, “In the future 10 years, the capital of robot consultants probably reaches 5 trillion US dollars and it is a great piece of meat undoubtedly.

With the heat of “robot consultant is taking the place of human consultant” topic, some specialists insist in the questionable voice. James Gorman, the new “King of Wall Street” and the CEO of Morgan Stanley, pointed out, “robot consultant can only attracted part of the clients and they cannot replace all the analysts, strategist and investment consultants.”

Yes, we have to admit that, the present robot consultant cannot be called “professional”. Therefore, the combination consultant mode of human and intelligent service robot will probably be the main trend and best choice in financial consultant industry in the future years.

Forbes: Sanbot could create an entirely new business model in America

“One new player in the robot arena seems particularly well-poised to lead the acceleration via an interesting offering that could be a true game-changer in service and create an entirely new business model in the United States in the process”. That is what Forbes wrote about Sanbot robot.

Robot marketing and businesses are getting bigger by the moment, but it seems there are two major opposing camps.  The Anti-Robot team is fearful and sees them as nothing but controversial, while more are embracing the intelligent robots as industry saviors. Dubai in the UAE has use a robot to interview police candidates. Yes, it is Sanbot programmable humanoid robot with voice interaction powered by IBM Watson.

QIHAN Technology just released a Multi-Service Platform System (MPS) for its Sanbot robot that is unprecedented. The system actually enables businesses to manage hundreds of Sanbot robots from anywhere through its cloud-enabled, centralized system that brings personalized communications services to companies worldwide via an intelligent, cloud-enabled humanoid service robot.

Businesses can customize and create tasks for Sanbots on PC, Tablet or Smartphone over Qihan Cloud using an open API. Operators can then upload and share customized marketing content, audio, video or text files, all remotely. QIHAN Technology firmly believes that service robots are the ideal solution in retail, hospitality, education and healthcare, and that more and more businesses are turning to robots to facilitate their activities.

With the advanced hardware and software with Cloud service, the robot can capture and analyze data to help better decipher customer behavior since they can actually capture customer interaction via live stream or in a recorded manner. Such information can take marketing initiatives to an entirely new level.  And the intelligent service robotics is so good that any unauthorized actions detected will be sent by the robot via mobile phone or PC to business owners immediately.

The leading innovation expert lec Ross explains it best in his book, The Industries Of The Future.  In this work he explains that robot adoption rate in U.S. culture is slow based on a deep fear of a potential “threat of humanity creating things we cannot control.”

But if QIHAN Technology has its way, it seems that any fears will be overcome.

“We see a massive opportunity in America as the market continues to usher in new use cases from security to retail and telepresence,” says Ryan Wu, Vice President of QIHAN Technology. “As robotic features advance, including hardware and AI, interactions between human and robots will become the norm, much like the introduction of social media and the on-demand economy have transformed our lives over the past ten years.”
